「木のデザイン」プロジェクトは、環境と資源を、社会と人を、芸術が結び、木の文化や
ライフスタイルの再考を提案し展覧会を通じ発信していく活動です。
「木のデザイン」プロジェクトの一環として、木を知り、木の文化について理解をより深めていくためにシンポジウムを開催しております。
人と自然との関わりを、資源としての木の活用を、文化、社会、環境の側面も併せ、レクチャーやディスカッションにより、人が豊に生きるために木の文化の在り方を多角的な視点から、未来に向けて思考を重ねていく試みです。
2010年に長野県産の信州カラマツを資源として用いた多様なジャンルの作家による招待作家展を、2011年には公募展を開催しております。今後も、デザインと社会と、人と地域の発展的な交流を、2013年公募展を通じ企画しております。
[Design in Wood] Symposium 2012 +
Design in wood project is an activity that to disseminate the proposal to reconsider the
culture and lifestyle of the wood connects the environment and resources, society and
people through art.
‘Design in wood ‘as a part of the project the symposium has been held to get to know
the woods, obtain better understanding of the wood culture.
For people’s prospective life we will to attempt overlap our conception seeking through
lecture and discussion to find out relation of social and nature, utilization of woods as a
resource, as well as aspects of culture, society and environment repeatedly thinking for
the future.
In 2010 we have had invitational exhibition by various artists utilizing larch resources
from Shinshu Nagano Prefecture, in 2011 held general public exhibition.
We are anticipating further general public exhibition in 2013 to connect society and
design, constructive exchange of people and the region.開催概要
